I've stayed in the Stratosphere, Circus Circus, and the Imperial Palace as well as the budget hotels (i.e. Best Western) when I go out there. I go to LV every year or year-and-a-half.

The Venetian is beautiful as is the Bellagio. I would never be able to afford those kind of prices, but would LOVE to be able to. *laughs* I suppose you would have had first class if you had accepted the plane ticket! Wow!

I had booked the past two 5-day vacations to LV - $315 in '07 and $353 in '08 - that included the roundtrip ticket and hotel. I am awesome at being cheap! :o)

The next time you spend 24 1/2 hours in Texas, you should post something to that effect. because I would totally take the day off work, drive to whatever part of the state you're in, and buy you lunch.
